Welcome to the webpage of the Caudron group based at Queen Mary University of London.

Who are we?

We are a group of biologists based at the School of Biological

and Chemical Sciences at Queen Mary University of London.

What do we do?

We want to understand how the different cellular components are organised in space and time to allow cells to perform their functions. We specifically focus on identifying the molecular mechanisms that are involved in cellular memory and the cellular ageing process. To achieve this we mostly use baker's yeast as a model organism, because it is very easy to handle and to edit its genome and because many of the molecular processes happening in yeast are similar in human cells.
